Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of information:

• Information you provide: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order details when you make a purchase, join our waitlist, or contact support.
• Automatically collected information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and interactions with our site.
• Transaction information: products purchased, order value, and payment confirmation status. We never receive or store your full payment card number.

We use your information to process and ship orders, provide customer support, send order and shipping notifications, send marketing emails when you have opted in, prevent fraud and abuse, measure and improve our website and advertising, and comply with legal obligations.

We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, and SDKs) to keep your cart and session working, remember your preferences, measure site performance, and deliver relevant advertising. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site — including checkout — may not function correctly without them.

We use analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors navigate the site. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve the shopping experience and is not used to identify you personally.

Our store and checkout are powered by Shopify Inc. When you check out, Shopify collects and processes the information needed to complete your order, including your contact details, shipping address, billing address, and payment information. Shopify also stores order history and may use cookies to operate checkout securely. Shopify processes this data as our service provider and in accordance with its own privacy policy.

We use Klaviyo to manage our email list and send marketing and launch updates. If you join our waitlist or opt in at checkout, your email address (and, where provided, your name and order activity) is stored in Klaviyo so we can send you relevant messages. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time or email us at hey@scooplatte.com to be removed.

We use the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising and to show ads to people who may be interested in Scoop Latte. The pixel may collect events such as page views, add-to-cart, checkout initiation, and purchases, along with your IP address and browser information. You can manage ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

If and when the TikTok Pixel is active on our site, it may collect similar advertising and conversion events — such as page views, add-to-cart, checkout initiation, and purchases — to measure ad performance and deliver relevant ads on TikTok. You can manage ad personalization in your TikTok account settings.

Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and other supported providers such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and major card networks. These processors handle your card data directly under PCI-DSS standards. Scoop Latte does not have access to, and does not store, your full payment card details.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business — including Shopify, payment processors, shipping and fulfillment partners, Klaviyo, and advertising and analytics platforms — and where required by law or to protect our legal rights. Sharing data with advertising partners may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under certain U.S. state privacy laws; you may opt out as described below.

We keep order records for as long as necessary to fulfill orders, provide support, and meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion of that information, request a copy in a portable format, opt out of marketing emails, opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing of your information with ad platforms, and be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email hey@scooplatte.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date below. Material changes will be communicated on this page.
